Kimon Journal 3: The Prophecies

As we travel out to moonsky city, the weather is hot as the sun is scourging on my scales. We were led by Mirari, the tiefling. Though we were under the shed of the trees, we aren't getting any cooler as if the forest itself was breathing heat to us. Suddenly, I heard there were unusual leaf movement sound from bushes not far ahead. I approach further to investigate. I see not far there pops a head that looked like a goblin. I initiate a peace greet but I got a shot of arrow from them. It leave us no choice but to engage into battle with them. Some of us were unable to locate them as they were sneaky hiding behind the bushes and lay down traps. Somehow i thought that their trap device was not even good enough to hunt a rabbit. Mirari triggered it and arrow shoot out aim the wrong direction and missed him.

They weren't strong against us, but they got my pity when Vehl sent a scourging fire upon them and burned them into crispy corpse. We try to loot anything from the corpse and Mirari again trigger another trap. I wonder is this poor soul born into a wrong body, i had not see a person is more clumsy as me. We continue our journey and Mirari briefed us about the history and politic happening in the city.
As we arrived the gate, the city was calm and quiet. Seem unusual for a big city, but as he told us of what happening under the reign of King Fieldlerson Otiven 8th. We enter the tiefling side of the city which looked pretty rundown and I asked Vehl for the coin and went out to human side with Chloe.
We investigate around about the coin and found out that, it was left by a group of thief that just recently break into a castle and stole something valuable.
I ask a soldier further about the attack on tiefling as we notice the citizen was celebrating on. I found that they are recruiting to fight them. Hence i ask if there is any mercenaries needed? I was escorted to the Castle and was stop by the Imperial guard as the king was having meeting with the senates. Since we have to wait, I asked the door guard about the stolen item. Surprisingly the king was not concern of it even it was a passed down item, a Golden crafted shield. It was meaningless to him just like the Golden dagger, may be he was busy with his preparation against the tiefling. I was told there are a mithril mine that used tiefling as miner to stable the country economic. We decided to go to the temple of Kord here since it was a long time i have visited my deity place. As we walk in the temple, i notice a robe individual is approaching. He seem to be a threat from how he walk, i was in a ready stance in case of battle. But he lift up his palm and stop me. He told us that we should follow him as he showed us that he is a tiefling.
We walked deeper into the temple and see the humans was happy rejoicing and praise Kord for the victory He gave to them. We walked into a candle room, and see a man sitting there. Saying we were the chosen one, warrior to fight for them. It was weird that we came in and his behavior to explain how he know that we are the chosen warrior. Plus he seem to be in hunger of any adventures. I asked him bout the coins and he told us that it was from the inFamous 4 that he was once joined. He knew what they want but we need to trade our effort for the information. His name was Fruhorn Carter, and in the group of 4 there are a rogue, fighter, wizard and ranger. However he keep jumping out of topic as he wanted to tell us about his journey to dragon valley so we listen.
Mirari came in during the middle of the story and he some how was said to be the useless one that keep failed his mission. Well im not surprise that Mirari kept flee from battle as i know.
