Anima's History Part 1/2

When she was a kid, she led a happy life with her family and her village was peaceful. She was brought into the world in a rich family, she had hair of gold and eyes which was as blue as the ocean. Her father was the mayor of the village and life was great, she was surrounded by her family who loved her and also the villagers who adored her.

As she grew up, her father trained her in the art of archery for it was part of their family tradition to pass down their skills with the bow to their next generation to build a strong family capable of taking over their place as the mayor of the village.

As the mayor of the town, her family has had a heirloom passed down from generation to generation. A necklace of magical energies which would be inherited by her brother Aether.

One day a hooded man walked into the streets of the town followed by a group of shady looking people. They began to cause trouble along the streets of the town, breaking vases by kicking them. All the hooded man did was walk along the pavement while the rest caused havoc.

A child running around had bumped into one of them, and they pushed the child down and kicked him before moving on. It was soon that a huge crowd of angry townspeople had gathered around the hooded man and his people. They stood in the middle of the huge crowd which encircled them, and finally their voices were heard.

"SILENCE!!! You mongrels are not worthy of our time, now show us to your leader or else this town will burn to the ground!."

The crowd was enraged and they started throwing rocks and pebbles but they simply bounced of an invisible barrier. Then suddenly the crowd went silent...the crowd opened up a path and walking through it was a tall well built man. He wore an elegant tunic which had the crest of their village on his right breast.

"Who are you and why have you disturbed the peace of this town? I've heard your calling, I am the leader which you seek now state your intentions and if they are not to my liking I shall have you banished from my town."

"We are here for the necklace...if you know what I mean? Just hand it over quietly and we won't leave this town in ashes" he said with an evil cackle.

As though a demon possessed, him the mayor voiced boomed so loudly that it could be even heard at the edges of the town.

"HOW DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE NECKLACE!!! YOU ARE NOT WELCOME IN THIS TOWN EVER!!! I NEVER WANT TO SEE BOTH OF YOU HERE EVER AGAIN!!".

At that moment every single villager who held a weapon in hand readied themselves to attack. One of the hooded man's people quickly raised both of his hands and fire burst from his palms. But before he could do anything the hooded man quickly stopped him.

"No. Don't. They are not worthy of dying by our hands, they shall all die a suffering death, they will watch each other die in their hands."

He turned his head towards the mayor and gave a grin before waving his hand and a gust of wind blew through. When the gust of wind passed they were no longer in the circle and as though the wind was carrying  their voices he could hear words whispering to him.

"I'll be back next time...and I will be there to watch you suffer."

Then all was silent. The crowd slowly dispersed and the mayor walked back to his home with a morbid look on his face. He went into his room and locked the door, pulled a jeweled box out from his drawer and took off the locket which hung around his neck. He opened the locket and nestled inside was a key. Using the key he opened the box and inside was a necklace.

He held it in his hand and it shone with a faint glow, he placed it back in the box and leaned over the table and made a big sigh.

"They are finally here for it..."
